Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Junior Attorney to support Senior Attorneys in litigating construction, business, and real estate cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and empathy to guide clients through legal matters.

Job Duties:

• Tenaciously and proactively litigating construction, business, and real estate cases in support of Senior Attorneys.
• Coordinating and executing all phases of pre-trial discovery, including depositions.
• Reviewing client's legal issues, analyzing options, and creating litigation plans for desired outcomes.
• Communicating empathetically with clients requiring real-life guidance on important matters.
• Religiously tracking and accounting for time.
• Guiding homeowners and contractors through common issues in home renovation projects.
• Advising owners, contractors, and subcontractors on construction contracts and projects.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
• 2-5 years of experience litigating business, real estate, or construction law matters.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating construction contracts is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Decisive with the ability to instill confidence in clients.
• Empathy and great communication skills are essential.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation experience in business, real estate, or construction disputes.
• Ability to review and negotiate construction contracts.
