Job Overview: The Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to government contracts, including contract negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on government contracts, laws, and regulations.
  • Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements.
  • Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues with government contracts.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of government contracts experience.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in Tennessee or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Strong understanding of government contracts, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of academic achievement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in Tennessee or eligibility for admission by waiver.
