A law firm in Houston is actively seeking an Attorney with 3-10 years of experience, particularly focusing on complex insurance coverage, including commercial first-party insurance, reinsurance, third-party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials, superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional attention to detail. Admission to the appropriate State Bar is required, and additional State Bar admissions are preferred.

Duties:

• Handle complex insurance coverage litigation, encompassing commercial first-party insurance, reinsurance, third-party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and client objectives.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned cases, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage matters.
• Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain superior organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-10 years of experience, with a focus on insurance coverage litigation.
• Admission to the appropriate State Bar.
