The ideal candidate should be adept in handling out-of-network payor provider litigation and possess a demonstrated commitment to the field. The role requires immediate responsibility assumption for legal matters, emphasizing strong communication and interpersonal skills, motivation, personability, and collaboration.

Duties:

• Handle managed care cases, including provider contract and billing disputes, medical necessity, level of care, and coordination of benefits.
• Manage out-of-network payor provider litigation matters.
• Assume immediate responsibility for legal matters within the managed care practice.
• Engage in legal research, analysis, and brief writing.
• Participate in oral arguments and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate effectively with legal teams and other professionals within the law firm.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of general litigation and/or arbitration experience.
• Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to the field of managed care.
• Motivated, personable, and articulate with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a law firm environment.
• Bar license in at least one of the following states: California, Texas, or Florida (preferred).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Preferred law school experience includes law clerk internships, moot court, or law review/journal participation.

Certifications:

Bar license in at least one of the following states: California, Texas, or Florida (preferred).
