Job Summary:
- Responsible for managing Insurance Defense and Tort Litigation/Disputes work.
- Represents insured and the company in bodily injury, property damage, and financial cases.
- Prepares for and conducts legal proceedings.
- Provides counsel to business clients and monitors new laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review new file assignments and develop strategy.
- Maintain contact with clients and claims.
- Review evidence and prepare witnesses and clients for legal proceedings.
- Conduct depositions and court appearances.
- Try and/or arbitrate cases and prepare motions and appeals.
- Provide legal opinions and pursue subrogation litigation.
- Manage projects.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- Juris Doctorate degree and member of TX State Bar.
- Up to 7 years of experience in Insurance Defense, Subrogation, and/or Personal Injury litigation.
- Trial and/or Arbitration experience preferred.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to work well with others and handle a large caseload.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel and lift up to 20 pounds.

Notes:
- Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
- Background investigation and drug screen required.

Compensation:
- $84,, per year based on experience and qualifications.
