McKinney office of our client seeks a personal injury associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate will work under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Attorney and Chief Operating Officer, and work closely with other legal staff providing support in handling personal injury case files. Responsible for managing a pre-litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end in the pre-suit phase. Meet with potential new clients; effectively communicate with clientele, insurance carriers, medical providers, experts and other parties. Help monitor clients' medical treatment, gather and analyze evidence and facts, review and analyze medical records, draft demands, and negotiate settlements. Oversee and manage the department's support team, mentoring and advising junior legal professionals; and collaborate effectively with other associates and senior level attorneys in analyzing cases, and legal issues, assessing injuries and damages, to ensure optimal resolution of personal injury claims. Support the Company's mission, model its core values, work and communicate well with the team, and have a passion for client satisfaction. Must be licensed in Texas and in good standing. Must have experience in supervising and managing other team members.
