A law firm in Minneapolis is seeking a Trademark and Unfair Competition Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of trademark and copyright litigation, including claim evaluation, demand letters and responses, TTAB filings, complex brief writing, heavy document discovery, 1st/2nd chair deposition experience, and drafting settlement and coexistence agreements. Provide legal support in trademark and unfair competition litigation matters. Handle cases pending before the TTAB and throughout the United States.

Duties:

  • Evaluate claims and respond to demand letters.
  • File TTAB pleadings and represent clients in proceedings.
  • Conduct complex brief writing for litigation cases.
  • Manage heavy document discovery processes.
  • Serve as 1st or 2nd chair in depositions.
  • Draft settlement and coexistence agreements.
  • Provide legal support to practices across multiple markets.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of experience in trademark and unfair competition litigation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of trademark and copyright laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
