Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on taxation matters related to estates and trusts.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with changes in trust and estate law.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other attorneys to execute estate planning strategies.
  • Represent clients in probate court when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws about trusts and estates.

  • Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
  • Extensive knowledge of complex estate planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate settlement, and taxation.
  • Experience in international estate planning is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
