Duties:

  • Represent clients in both jury and non-jury trials in State and Federal courts.
  • Handle a diverse caseload encompassing real estate related litigation, business torts, officer and director liability matters, complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to strategize and execute case objectives effectively.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
  • Significant experience (X years) in conducting both jury and non-jury trials in State and Federal courts.
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters, including real estate disputes, business torts, officer and director liability cases, complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance disputes.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and trial advocacy techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to The Florida Bar preferred; willingness to become admitted to The Florida Bar if not currently licensed.
