A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-15 years of relevant experience and will play a crucial role in providing legal representation to clients in insurance defense matters.

Duties:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance laws and regulations
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance-related issues
• Stay updated on developments in insurance law and industry trends

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• 3-15 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
