Duties:

• Manage and handle a comprehensive caseload involving insurance defense matters, emphasizing general liability and commercial transportation.
• Conduct legal research, analyze issues, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Attend court appearances and hearings to represent clients effectively.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to streamline case processes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain clear and organized case records, including documentation of client communication, court appearances, and case developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-20 years of insurance defense experience, specifically in general liability matters and commercial transportation.
• Proven ability to handle a full caseload, demonstrating proficiency in reporting, drafting motions, discovery, court appearances, and pre-trial preparation.
• Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
