Job Details:

Duties:

  • Handle sophisticated secured lending and other debt finance transactions, including leveraged finance, cash flow, asset-based loans, acquisition finance, debt restructurings, equipment finance, and related transactions.
  • Manage general corporate matters, securities-related transactions (private placements, venture capital, private equity, and investment funds), and corporate issues related to real estate development and joint ventures.
  • Provide legal advice and support on various corporate and commercial issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience handling sophisticated secured lending and debt finance transactions.
  • New Jersey Bar admission is required.
  • Experience and Bar admission in New York or other jurisdictions is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in New Jersey is mandatory.
  • Bar admission in New York or other jurisdictions is a plus.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in secured lending and debt finance transactions.
  • Strong background in general corporate matters and securities transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
