# Internship Program at the Division of Law The Division of Law in the Department of Law & Public Safety in New Jersey offers law students the opportunity to participate in the Internship Program. Interns will be assigned to one of the Division’s sections and supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. During their internship, students will be involved in a full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing, and will have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activity. ## Requirements To be considered for a position in the program, law students must submit an Internship Application, resume, legal writing sample and most recent grade report to the appropriate recruiter. Interviews and offers for positions in the program are made on a rolling basis. ## Locations The Division of Law has two locations for internship assignments: - Trenton and Voorhees Office Considerations - Newark Office Considerations ## Compensation Interns in the Division of Law Internship Program are compensated at the rate of per hour. ## Application If you are a law student and would like to be considered for a position in the program, please submit the Internship Application, resume, legal writing sample and your most recent grade report to the appropriate recruiter listed below. ## Deadline Internship Applications should be submitted according to the schedule below: - Spring Session: January through April, Application deadline: November 15
