The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of defense litigation experience and must also hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation defense, with a focus on Auto and Premises Liability cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers to provide updates and negotiate settlements.
  • Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
  • Manage case files, including organizing documents, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in Auto and Premises Liability defense.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA).
  • 1-3 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Auto and Premises Liability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

 

Education and Certifications:
