Job ID: 2176 H1: Contract Litigation Attorney (Remote) H2: Join the DWTSurge Team at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP Law Firm Seeking Litigation Attorney for Remote Engagement through Alternative Staffing Program Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a leading national law firm, is currently seeking a mid to senior-level litigation attorney for a contract position through its alternative staffing program, DWTSurge. This remote position will support the litigation group and focus on handling litigation and arbitration matters for a large corporate client. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with a mid-sized or large law firm, active bar admission in one of the listed states, and a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities: Case management and attendance at remote hearings on a weekly basis Drafting briefings using templates and making settlement recommendations Regular communication with the client Ability to work with a high level of independence and exercise good judgment Requirements: 5+ years of litigation experience with mid-sized or large law firm Active bar admission in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, MT, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WDC Experience attending and managing hearings independently Strong client service abilities and excellent legal drafting and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities This is a contract position that will start part-time with the potential to increase to full-time after a trial and training period. The hourly range for this position is $90 to $125 per/hour, with the potential for additional benefits once hours increase to over 29 hours per week. The contract term is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal for successful candidates.
