A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Business Immigration Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law matters. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging cases across the employment-based immigration spectrum, including EB-1, PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1 and E-2, O-1, and EB-5 matters. The role also involves handling federal court challenges to unreasonable delays and denials (APA and mandamus).

 

Duties:

  • Handle employment-based immigration matters, including EB-1, PERM, H-1B, L-1, E-1 and E-2, O-1, and EB-5 cases.
  • Work on federal court challenges to unreasonable delays and denials (APA and mandamus).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their immigration needs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with government agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Attend hearings and court proceedings as necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in immigration law matters.
  • Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.

 

Skills:

  • Expertise in employment-based immigration cases.
  • Strong understanding of various visa categories.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and client management abilities.
  • Experience in federal court challenges (APA and mandamus) is a plus.
