The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients in family and criminal proceedings while demonstrating proficiency in case management, communication, and legal research. Duties:

• Consult with prospective clients seeking legal representation in Family and Criminal matters.
• Represent clients in Family and Criminal proceedings with diligence and professionalism.
• Manage cases efficiently, ensuring timely filing of motions and other legal documents.
• Maintain regular communication with opposing counsel to facilitate case resolution.
• Utilize case management software to provide accurate reports to management and ensure accountability.
• Delegate tasks effectively, maximizing the productivity of attorney and legal assistant time.
• Meet individual and firm goals through independent and collaborative work efforts.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members on trial advocacy techniques.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Family and Criminal defense law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, PDF, and Excel.
• Strong litigation experience with mediation, negotiations, legal research, and writing expertise.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of immigration law and procedure.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus+.
• Genuine interest in working with immigrants and victims of trauma.
