ILAS, Idaho's largest no-cost, public interest law firm, is seeking a contract attorney for the First Judicial District. The selected attorney will be responsible for accepting eviction defense and domestic violence related family law cases for low-income Idahoans referred from the local office. ILAS will provide access to training materials, pleadings, and staff attorneys to support the contract attorney.

The contract will begin as soon as possible and end on December 31, 2024, with a maximum of 100 hours worked for the year. The hourly rate for this position is $80-$100. The selected attorney must be a member of the Idaho State Bar and have a strong belief in ILAS's mission of providing equal access to justice. ILAS can also provide malpractice insurance if the attorney does not have their own coverage.
