A law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a highly qualified Workers' Compensation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of workers' compensation claims, providing legal advice, and representing clients in hearings and court proceedings.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with legal support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure effective case management.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
