A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Seasoned Trial Attorney with 1-6 years of experience. While a book of business is preferred, the primary focus will be on trial practice and litigation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in courtroom representation and litigation strategy development.

Duties:

• Represent clients in a variety of civil and/or criminal litigation matters, from case inception through trial.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyze case law, and prepare comprehensive legal briefs and documents.
• Develop and execute effective trial strategies, including witness preparation, evidence presentation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives, providing legal advice and guidance.
• Attend court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing regular case updates and ensuring their needs are met.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to contribute to successful case outcomes.

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong focus on trial practice and litigation.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Strong understanding of trial procedures and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle a diverse caseload.
• Commitment to ethical legal practice and client confidentiality.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
