A law firm in New York City is seeking a Senior Government Enforcement Defense Lawyer with 5+ years of experience as an Assistant . Attorney in New York, Washington DC, or Miami. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree and excellent writing, drafting, and editing skills.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of Government Enforcement Defense (GED) matters, including asset forfeiture cases.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients facing government enforcement actions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex enforcement issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Work closely with clients to develop defense strategies and negotiate favorable resolutions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to build strong defense cases.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant . Attorney in New York, Washington DC, or Miami.
  • Graduated law school before 2017.
  • Excellent writing, drafting, and editing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in New York, Washington DC, or Florida.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
