The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage and policy analysis, with a strong understanding of various insurance policies, laws, and interpretation principles. Admission to practice in NJ/NY is required, and PA admission is a plus. The role involves handling litigation from case inception through trial in state and federal courts, requiring exceptional analytical, research, and written communication skills.

Duties

• Represent clients in coverage disputes involving various insurance policies, including comprehensive general liability, directors and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), employment practices liability (EPL), professional liability, commercial property and casualty, and more
• Analyze insurance policies and provide legal counsel on coverage matters
• Handle litigation from case inception through trial in state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance laws and policy interpretation principles
• Draft and review legal documents related to insurance coverage disputes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Insurance Coverage Attorney
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, laws, and policy interpretation principles
• Admission to practice in NJ/NY; PA admission is a plus
• Litigation experience from case inception through trial

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
