A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting litigation documents, possess excellent communication and project management skills, and be capable of handling a diverse range of legal responsibilities independently and collaboratively.

 

Duties:

  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Utilize transferable skills and showcase a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
  • State and federal court experience is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
  • Specialization in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.
  • Proven ability to work with state and federal court procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
