Job Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding legal matters.
• Analyze legal documents and provide insightful interpretations.
• Conduct thorough legal research on various topics related to insolvency law.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Draft and prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Manage all insolvency-related cases, ensuring deadlines and client needs are met.

Requirements:

• Strong desire to learn and understand debtor/creditor rights law.
• Exceptional research and legal writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the Michigan State Bar Association or willingness to become licensed in Michigan.
• Experience in bankruptcy law is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
