Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an attorney to join its team in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will gain valuable experience in personal injury law and should be licensed in Maryland or Washington, DC, with a Virginia license being welcomed.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including but not limited to automobile accidents, slips and falls and medical malpractice.
• Conduct legal research and prepare documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to negotiate settlements or prepare for trial.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on personal injury matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maryland Bar or the District of Columbia Bar.
• Experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
