Position Summary:

- Seeking a Senior Tax Consultant with experience in partnerships, Subchapter K, and real estate funds
- Opportunity to use the latest tax technologies to serve clients in the real estate industry

- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates

Responsibilities:

- Perform detail-level reviews of partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns
- Prepare materials and research for consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information for tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff
- Attend required Deloitte Tax LLP and sector-specific trainings

Qualifications:

Required:

- 3+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing client work papers and income tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Licensed CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP
- Ability to demonstrate basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax compliance process for real estate funds
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills

Salary Information:

- Wage range is $68,180 to $144,300, taking into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
