Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications in various technical fields such as 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on patent matters, including patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate opinions, and infringement analysis.
  • Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify patentable inventions and develop patent strategies.
  • Analyze patent office actions and draft responses to office actions, including amendments, arguments, and legal briefs.
  • Conduct patent searches and prior art analysis to support prosecution and litigation efforts.
  • Assist in managing patent portfolios and maintaining compliance with patent laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably in the specified technical areas.
  • Expertise in patent prosecution related to 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field is preferred.
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligibility to register for the USPTO.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Bar, or eligible to waive into the Bar.
