Summary:

TransUnion is currently seeking a FCRA Legal Counsel to join their legal team in various locations, including Chicago, Illinois, Alpharetta, Georgia, Washington, District of Columbia, White Plains, New York, Reston, Virginia, Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania, and Boca Raton, Florida. This is a full-time position posted yesterday with job requisition ID 19029601.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in consumer financial services and a strong background in regulatory compliance and/or litigation. Knowledge and experience with FCRA and UDAAP is preferred.

In this role, the FCRA Legal Counsel will provide legal support and guidance to TransUnion's . Operations business on areas affecting legal compliance and strategy. This includes compliance with federal and state consumer protection laws, policy management and training, marketing communications, new product design and development, litigation mitigation, issue management and remediation, regulatory examination legal support, and other matters as needed.

Responsibilities include working with a small team of regulatory subject matter experts, providing legal counsel to stakeholders, making impactful legal decisions and business recommendations, advising internal clients, and maintaining confidentiality of company-related business. This is a hybrid position, with a mix of virtual and in-person responsibilities at assigned TransUnion office locations.

The salary range for this position is $108, - $184,, with potential for bonus incentives. Actual compensation will be based on various factors including education, experience, and market considerations.
