Job Overview:

The Attorney will manage a caseload of 50 - 100 files, perform legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings, attend court conferences, handle discovery-related activities and investigations, and draft position statements and dispositive motions.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of 50 - 100 files
• Conduct legal research for managing attorney
• Draft and review substantive pleadings, motions, and memoranda of law
• Attend hearings, depositions, trials, mediations, and negotiate settlements
• Draft responsive motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Conduct depositions
• Attend hearings mediations and argue routine and dispositive motions
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide case status updates

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree
• Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida
• Possess 1+ years of litigation experience
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are required
• Outstanding academic credentials preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree
