A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney with a strong background in litigation, particularly in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for reviewing and drafting various legal documents, managing projects, and maintaining effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external parties. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

 

Duties:

  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties both verbally and in writing.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.
  • Meet deadlines and exceed expectations in performing all assigned work duties.
  • Perform any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
  • Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
  • Transferable skills applicable to the legal field.
  • State and federal court experience is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in project management.
