Key Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager, you will work alongside a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing new skills outside of your comfort zone
- Resolving issues that hinder team effectiveness
- Coaching team members and encouraging their personal development
- Analyzing complex ideas and providing meaningful recommendations
- Using multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations
- Addressing sub-standard work and ensuring it meets the firm's and client's expectations
- Utilizing data and insights to inform decision-making
- Developing a point of view on global trends and their impact on clients
- Managing diverse viewpoints to reach consensus and positive outcomes for all parties
- Simplifying complex messages and summarizing key points
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax-related roles
- CPA, member of the Bar, or other relevant tax, technology, or finance credentials preferred
- Extensive knowledge of tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions within private partnerships
- Experience with interpreting and applying relevant sections of the US Tax Code and associated regulations, especially in regards to partnership structures and specialized tax consulting
- Strong understanding of a wide range of M&A and equity transactions
- Proven track record of successful marketing and business development efforts
- Excellent skills in analyzing, preparing, and processing complex information related to partnership allocations
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines to design and implement systems and process enhancements
- Proficiency in creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets and data analytic tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report-writing and presentation skills
- Experience participating in client discussions and meetings
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools
- Experience leading teams and promoting continuous improvement and innovation
