Job Title: Associate General Counsel, Litigation Location: Los Angeles, CA Austin, TX Menlo Park, CA Washington, DC New York, NY San Francisco, CA Chicago, IL Salary: $198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Responsibilities: - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address online abuse and ensure compliance with Meta's policies and terms - Conduct investigations of online abuse in preparation for potential litigation - Manage and develop strategies for various litigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, and other content-related disputes - Collaborate with and oversee outside counsel - Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risk - Coordinate and participate in internal discovery activities - Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes Minimum Qualifications: - . degree and membership in at least one . state bar - 8+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role - 3+ years of investigations experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role - Experience in strategic problem-solving and managing multiple projects independently Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with cross-functional teams - Excellent drafting and advocacy skills - Trial and appellate experience - Familiarity with highly technical, software-related subject matters About Meta: Meta is a technology company that focuses on connecting people, building communities, and supporting businesses.
