Job Duties:

  • Independently manage defense litigation caseload, overseeing cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Represent clients in various litigation matters, including Labor & Employment, Healthcare, or HOA cases.
  • Attend court appearances and conduct depositions regularly.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of defense litigation experience in Labor & Employment, Healthcare, and HOA litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Superior communication, writing, and research skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Familiarity with Florida state and federal court procedures.
  • Demonstrated success in handling complex litigation matters.
  • Previous experience working in a reputable law firm environment.
