Duties:

• Handle a caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice litigation matters
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
• Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties involved in the cases
• Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparation
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Research legal issues and provide analysis and recommendations to senior attorneys
• Participate in case strategy meetings and case management discussions
• Assist with settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal procedures

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of legal experience, preferably in litigating personal injury cases
• Admitted to practice law in New York
• Strong understanding of personal injury and medical malpractice law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
