A law firm is seeking a 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team in Boca Raton, FL. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing clients with updates, communicating with insurance companies, and representing clients in various legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. Exceptional negotiation skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Provide clients with timely updates on the status of claims, demands, and offers
• Engage in effective communication with insurance companies regarding claim matters
• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients
• Utilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategies
• Negotiate settlements and agreements with insurance companies and opposing parties
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as required
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing
• 2+ years of litigation experience, with preference given to candidates with First Party Property Damage experience
• Strong understanding of claim evaluation processes and legal principles
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
