Duties:

  • Provide clients with timely updates on the status of claims, demands, and offers
  • Engage in effective communication with insurance companies regarding claim matters
  • Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients
  • Utilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategies
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements with insurance companies and opposing parties
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as required
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing
  • 2+ years of litigation experience, with preference given to candidates with First Party Property Damage experience
  • Strong understanding of claim evaluation processes and legal principles
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
