# Tax Partner at Citrin Cooperman

Citrin Cooperman is one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the United States, with over 2,400 employees in 21 . and International offices. The firm is looking for a Tax Partner to join its Tax Department and provide excellent client service.

## Responsibilities

The Tax Partner will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and signing complex federal and state income tax returns
- Representing clients at the IRS and state tax audits; appeals and dispute resolution
- Writing federal and state tax protests
- Understanding of financial statements
- Providing high quality client service

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

- CPA license
- Masters of Tax or LLM Tax (preferred but not required)
- 10+ years of public accounting experience; partner at a Top 25 accounting firm
- Broad and deep understanding of taxation with a focus on closely-held businesses; S-Corporations; Partnerships; LLCs; high net worth individuals
- Experience in representing clients at the IRS and state tax audits; appeals and dispute resolution (preferred but not required)
- Litigation support experience including assisting law firms on civil and criminal tax cases (preferred but not required)
- Experience in writing federal and state tax protests (preferred but not required)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
