We are looking for an experienced and passionate Family Law Attorney to join our team. ## Family Law Attorney at Halligan LLC

Halligan LLC is seeking a skilled, passionate, and capable family law attorney to join their growing and entrepreneurial boutique law firm. The ideal candidate will contribute their family law knowledge and experience to strengthen a dynamic and energetic team.

### Responsibilities

* Conduct client meetings
* Devise and implement strategies to reach the client’s goals and manage client expectations
* Provide high-level production support on a range of domestic relations and/or family law cases
* Engage in full-service family law representation, including representing pre and post-decree matters, child custody, and modification of parenting plans
* Independently maintain an average caseload of twenty-twenty-five cases
* Directly supervise the quality of work performed by paralegals
* Delegate work as appropriate while balancing client expenses, support staff ability, and case need
* Conduct discovery, provide high-level legal research support when needed, draft and review complex pleadings and motions, conduct pretrial hearings and conferences, motion hearings, mediation, and family law trials

### Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

* A minimum of one year of experience successfully helping clients achieve their desires in their family law matters
* Extensive knowledge of, and experience, with complex, high-asset cases
* Ability to manage a caseload of a minimum of twenty active cases
* Ability to bill in excess of 1500 hours/year
* Outstanding research and writing skills
* A strong rapport with clients
* Extensive court experience
* Passion for family law and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients
* A dedication to assisting clients in challenging periods of their lives
* Personality, character, intelligence, and integrity
* A commitment to continuing professional development and ongoing legal education

* The ability to work directly with Managing Partner and firm management to assist on an as-needed and by-request basis
* The ability to set reasonable boundaries for client communication and attorney availability
* Exceptional levels of professionalism and decorum under all circumstances
* The ability to set realistic client expectations and engage in appropriate client management
* A keen eye for detail and pride in the quality of his or her work

### Compensation

Halligan LLC offers a competitive salary package to the successful candidate, commensurate with skill and experience. The base salary is between $105,000 and $200,000, in addition to the opportunity to earn bonus compensation for performance, billable hour achievements, and client generation.

The firm's benefits package includes paid attorney registration dues, paid time off, sick time, dental, vision, and medical insurance, a monthly internet stipend, and a retirement plan with employer-matching contributions. The firm is pleased to be able to offer attorneys who regularly meet performance benchmarks the ability to work on a remote or hybrid basis.
