A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Capital Markets Associate Attorney with the following job description:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Capital Markets Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation in various capital markets transactions, focusing on Latin American markets. The successful candidate must possess strong academic qualifications, exceptional written communication and analytical skills, and fluent Spanish. Admission to practice in the State of New York is required.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings, securities regulations, and compliance matters.
• Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and assisted in negotiations.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to achieve client objectives.
• Assist in due diligence reviews and document preparation for transactions.
• Handle client communications and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in Capital Markets, focusing on Latin America.
• Admission to practice law in the State of New York.
• Fluent in Spanish with strong speaking and writing skills.
• Broad-based skill set, including exposure to corporate governance and public company representations (preferred).
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Proficiency in Spanish language.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
