They are looking for a dedicated Assistant General Counsel to provide legal counsel and advice to business unit leadership. The role requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week and can be based in various locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities include providing legal counsel to support business objectives and mitigate risk, communicating effectively with stakeholders and leadership, monitoring changes in laws and regulations, collaborating with internal partners, and working with outside counsel when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor degree, and at least 6 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney.

What sets a candidate apart is experience in P&C Insurance contracts, claims, and coverage, as well as specific expertise in California, Texas, Florida, and/or Washington State claims. US military experience is also a plus.

The salary for this role may vary by location but falls within the range of $120,550 - $230,400.
