Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Counsel healthcare providers on various regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine, and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement.
  • Handle healthcare transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and private equity deals.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to contractual arrangements, including management agreements, provider services agreements, and physician employment agreements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and offices in a collegial environment.
  • Work in a brand new office space located in an area targeted for growth.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in health care transactional matters.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent law school credentials and references.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Relevant certifications related to healthcare law (preferred).

 

Skills:

  • Strong background in healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Ability to handle complex healthcare transactions.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
