A law firm in Columbus is seeking a Mid- to Senior Level Healthcare Associate Attorney with at least 4 years of demonstrated experience in healthcare transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling healthcare providers on regulatory issues, including fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine, and Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Counsel healthcare providers on various regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine, and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement.
- Handle healthcare transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and private equity deals.
- Draft and review legal documents related to contractual arrangements, including management agreements, provider services agreements, and physician employment agreements.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and offices in a collegial environment.
- Work in a brand new office space located in an area targeted for growth.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in health care transactional matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent law school credentials and references.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications related to healthcare law (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong background in healthcare regulatory matters.
- Ability to handle complex healthcare transactions.
