The Construction Litigation Attorney will play a pivotal role in the firm, collaborating closely with a Partner in Construction Law to manage a substantial caseload of complex litigation matters in the realm of construction and construction defect litigation. The candidate will be responsible for delivering impeccable client service through effective communication, counsel, and legal advice, as well as participating in pre-trials, trials, and hearings, representing clients with skill and effectiveness.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a substantial caseload of complex litigation matters in the realm of construction and construction defect litigation.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team to strategize and execute effective litigation plans.
  • Deliver impeccable client service through consistent communication, counsel, and legal advice.
  • Participate in pre-trials, trials, and hearings, representing clients skillfully and effectively.
  • Utilize ATO or equivalent case management software for efficient case handling.
  • Adhere to billable hours, demonstrating exceptional time management skills.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in ATO or equivalent case management software.
  • Experience with billable hours, demonstrating exceptional time management skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

 

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills, with 3+ years of experience in complex litigation, preferably in construction or construction defect litigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ATO or equivalent case management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a substantial caseload and execute effective litigation plans.
  • Time management skills with experience in adhering to billable hours.
