Job Title: Senior Counsel - Global Compliance Investigations Leader
Experience: Minimum of 7 years post admission experience
Location: Evendale, Ohio, United States of America; Norwalk, Connecticut, United States of America; Rivalta di Torino, Torino, Italy

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead a globally dispersed team in conducting investigations into alleged violations of law or GE policies.
- Ensure confidentiality protection for concern-raisers and promote an open reporting culture.
- Oversee and direct investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
- Plan and lead complex investigations, coordinating with internal and external resources.
- Manage assignment of cases and investigative resources.
- Develop team knowledge and competencies through training and other development opportunities.
- Own key metrics and apply lean principles to drive process efficiencies.
- Review and approve investigation reports, ensuring high-quality and comprehensive documentation.
- Lead people management activities, including recruiting, development, and performance management.
- Drive connectivity between key stakeholders to identify trends, analyze risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on all applicable legal and policy requirements related to investigations and provide guidance to the team.

Basic Qualification/Requirements:

- from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 7 years post admission experience.
- Available for business travel (up to 20%).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with corporate compliance, integrity investigations, and audit functions.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to distill large amounts of information into essential elements.
- High personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Cultural sensitivity and flexibility to work in a diverse, international environment.
