A law firm in Houston is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience and robust renewables experience to complement the Firm’s current energy practice. The ideal candidate will counsel clients on various renewables projects, focusing on facilities operations and power purchase agreements.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
• Handle litigation matters related to renewables projects.
• Provide legal advice on wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management.
• Manage and develop a portable book of business.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop strategies and solutions for renewable projects.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
• Robust renewables experience.
• Portable book of business.
• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills with a focus on renewable projects.
• Knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
