Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on privacy, cybersecurity, and technology-related matters.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, including data protection laws and regulations.
  • Assist in government investigations related to privacy and cybersecurity issues.
  • Handle litigation matters arising from privacy breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to privacy and data security.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging privacy and cybersecurity issues.
  • Develop and implement privacy and cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on developments in privacy and data protection laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in TX.
  • 4-9 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and technology-related legal matters.
  • Strong understanding of privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, government investigations, and litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
