BDO is a leading global accounting and advisory firm, and we are currently seeking a Director to join our thriving Privacy & Data Protection (PDP) Practice. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and engagement leader, providing global solutions to our clients' data protection and privacy needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is looking to work with both domestic and international clients and professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver global data protection and privacy strategies for client C-suite/board
- Build cross-cultural functionality for clients to operationalize global privacy programs
- Manage project teams and ensure timely and quality work product delivery
- Develop privacy operations program plans for global corporate clients
- Provide detailed information on domestic and global privacy laws to clients
- Establish new relationships to drive opportunities for BDO
- Comply with BDO's Quality Risk Management, Data Protection, and other Frameworks
- Manage relationships with clients and introduce other BDO professionals to expand existing relationships
- Ensure timely and thoughtful responses to client questions and requests
- Build relationships with BDO professionals and participate in industry events
- Update customer relationship management for accurate pipeline reporting
- Review executive reports and provide feedback to team members
- Develop proposals and respond to RFP/RFI's
- Utilize knowledge of client needs to develop project and resource plans and provide regular updates
- Participate in business unit, legal, IT, privacy, and governance meetings
- Proofread and edit executive reports
- Manage client and BDO Partner expectations at all levels
- Mentor team members to ensure consistent quality work product and adherence to BDO standards
- Manage multiple large, complex, and potentially long-term engagements and clients
- Manage client expectations and support in-person presentations to senior level executives
- Support the Data Protection Officer for clients
- Develop and manage project budgets and review invoices
- Act as a leader and maintain a professional attitude towards clients and firm personnel
- Manage a team of professionals on a project or regional basis
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's, Juris Doctorate, or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of consulting experience required
- 3+ years of data protection or privacy experience required
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing large, complex privacy projects required
- One or more privacy certifications and experience with privacy enabled technology solutions preferred

Salary Information:
Salaries are determined based on various factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The salary range for this position is:
- California: $200,000 - $225,000
- Colorado: $200,000 - $225,000
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester: $200,000 - $225,000
- Washington: $200,000 - $225,000
