A law firm in Maitland, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Workers' Comp Defense practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates, receiving active mentoring, client exposure, and guidance in the client development process. This position requires at least 5 years of legal experience, a . degree from an accredited law school, and active Bar membership or recent passage of the 2023 Bar Exam. The successful candidate should be hard-working, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties:

• Collaborate with partners and senior associates to provide legal representation in Workers' Comp Defense cases.
• Research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to develop legal strategies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend hearings, trials, and depositions to represent clients.
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions with opposing counsel when necessary.
• Communicate with clients, keeping them informed about case developments and advising on legal matters.
• Assist in client development activities under the guidance of partners.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on Workers' Comp Defense.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Bar or recent passage of the 2023 Bar Exam.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough legal research.

Education:
