Job Duties:

- Tax Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable authorities and minimizing tax and reporting burdens for clients
- Collecting all necessary data and preparing required filings (tax returns) using a system of review and documentation
- Utilizing Firm compliance software to maximize efficiency
- Effectively teaming with Senior on completion of projects
- Documenting all significant tax positions

- ASC 740-10 (FAS 109 and FIN 48) Tax Accruals:
- Applying Firm policies and standards regarding FAS 109 and FIN 48
- Assisting with preparation and/or review of income tax provisions

- Tax Consulting:
- Developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective methods to maximize client benefits
- Applying knowledge of tax structure and filing requirements in completing assigned work
- Drafting clear and concise general memorandums and correspondence
- Identifying potential relevant tax issues or opportunities

- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics required
- Master's in Accountancy or Taxation preferred

- Experience:
- Leadership experience preferred
- Accounting-based internship preferred

- License/Certifications:
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exams
- Progress towards admission to practice in a . jurisdiction
- Progress towards Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred

- Software:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
