Business Support Services / Experienced / Executive Director Associate General Counsel-Litigation KPMG's Office of General Counsel (OGC) is seeking an experienced Executive Director and Associate General Counsel to join our Litigation group. This role will provide legal support and counsel on civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and other legal matters for the Firm. The successful candidate will have a minimum of eighteen years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department, with a JD or LLM from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in the . Responsibilities: - Provide counsel on civil litigation, including cases where the Firm is a party or subject to third-party subpoenas - Represent KPMG and its professionals in legal proceedings and provide advice to the Firm's leaders - Develop and implement strategies to successfully defend litigation claims and regulatory investigations - Supervise outside counsel and collaborate with other members of OGC to ensure high-quality legal representation for the Firm - Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues related to litigation and regulatory matters - Assist in financial projections for supervised matters Qualifications: - Minimum of 18 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department - Experience with complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms or financial institutions is a plus - JD or LLM from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in the . - Experience with the SEC or PCAOB is a plus - Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines - Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills - Strong collaboration skills and a client-service orientation - Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion Salary Range: $331,000 - $737,000 (based on relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market considerations) Benefits: - Comprehensive and competitive benefits package - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Disability and life insurance - 401(k) plans - Personal Time Off and firmwide breaks - Mental health support and well-being benefits KPMG is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding recruitment and hiring.
