KPMG is seeking a Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and other locations in the Midwest and Midwest Central regions. This is an experienced level position, and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm. Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses
- Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience
- Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, building and managing relationships
- Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice
- Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
- Engage in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm

Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships, and strong knowledge of ASC 740
- Proven experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
