The Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner will be responsible for providing legal counsel and strategic advice on matters related to executive compensation and employee benefits. Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Draft and review documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and other employee benefit arrangements.
  • Assist clients in designing, implementing, and administering employee benefit programs.
  • Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable statutes.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on developments in executive compensation and employee benefits law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.
  • 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting.
  • Expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Portable book of business is highly preferred.
